R.I.P Memories of Amazing Talent!
Post from Keith: R.I.P. Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell! The amazing musical talent of these dudes was off the hook! Both of them have personally influenced me in a major way! Also the legend Walter Becker from "Steely Dam" and of course the iconic Prince and Michael Jackson. Layne Staley from "Alice in Chains", Scott Weiland from "Stone Temple Pilots", Glenn Frey from the "Eagles", Maurice White from "Earth, Wind & Fire", Bernie Worrell from "Parliament Funkadelic", Da

In memory of Jason Corsaro Recording and Mix Engineer!
Post from Keith: In loving memory of a genius recording & mix engineer and my friend "Jason Corsaro" who passed away from his battle with cancer. Early in my engineering career I was fortunate enough to assist Jason on several recording sessions when I worked as an assistant engineer at Platinum Island Recording Studios in NYC. Jason was super, super nice to me when I was learning the craft and struggling as a new engineer. He shared so many of his secrets and engineering

Snarky Puppy is Incredible!

Alexander Sipiagin Album "Images"
Post from Keith: One of the projects I worked on as a recording and mix engineer was a Jazz Fusion record called "Images" by Russian Jazz Trumpeter "Alexander Sipiagin". I'm very proud of the work I did on this album as I recorded and mixed the entire record. It was a challenging project as I'll never forget recording the song "Freaker", a crazy Jazz Fusion song with everything coming at you at the same time, it was a blast! You can find this album on ( Discogs.com ) or in

Imagine Dragons maybe the best band today!
Post from Keith: It's official "Imagine Dragons" are my new favorite band. These guys do everything right in such an amazing way on every album. Everything is off the hook as the songwriting, production, mixing and engineering are the best. Their lead singer Dan Reynolds is unbelievable, the best singer I've heard in decades. These guys are true professionals and their music reflects their insightful, creative lyrics and melodies. My favorite tunes are: "It's Time", "Na

ShineDown has a hit!
Post from Keith: The band "Shinedown" wrote an amazing song called "A Symptom of Being Human" when I first heard this tune I was so blown away by Brent Smith's vocal performance which is magical and genius! What a great song sung in full voice with power and emotion. Brent said the song is actually about struggling with mental illness which is a major problem in this country what a great band, one of my favorites!

Taylor Swift and Max Martin
Post from Keith: Billionaire pop culture icon Taylor Swift is obviously the biggest pop star in the world, so when she drops a new album and teams up with genius Songwriter/Producer Max Martin the #1 songwriter in the world (that wrote more #1 hit songs than Paul McCartney) you have to pay attention. It took me a minute to appreciate this record, no doubt the best song is the title track "The fate of Ophelia" which has a very interesting structure of 5 bar verses and extende
