Post from Keith: In loving memory of a genius recording & mix engineer and my friend "Jason Corsaro" who passed away from his battle with cancer. Early in my engineering career I was fortunate enough to assist Jason on several recording sessions when I worked as an assistant engineer at Platinum Island Recording Studios in NYC. Jason was super, super nice to me when I was learning the craft and struggling as a new engineer. He shared so many of his secrets and engineering tricks. Jason would call me over from the side of the studio and say "Keith come over here and let me show you what I'm doing". Jason's resume is star studded, with engineering iconic massive game changing hit songs like Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" and "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden. And yes he shared those secrets with me on how he got the sounds!

I never met a guy who loved being a professional recording engineer like he did, Jason was so passionate, creative and dedicated to his craft by always thinking out of the box! Jason told me to always think out of the box regardless of what others thought. When you worked with Jason you could feel his passion & love for engineering. He was like a kid in a candy store. RIP Jason as you have truly inspired me!

Honorable mention to my other brothers in the engineering club: Shelly Yakus, Jack Joseph Puig, Ray Bardini, Mick Guzauski and Humberto Gatica, the legends who taught me so much about sound, frequencies, recording and mixing!

Special thanks: To my brother David Pack from "Ambrosia", Randy Goodrum, Dinshah Sanjana, Teddy Riley "The Beat Master", bassists Randy Jackson and synth genius Michael Boddicker. My guys from "Toto" Steve Porcaro, Steve Lukather and David Paich. Last but not least my old songwriting brother Thomas Owens and of course my dog "Q-Uniqie". Jay Graydon my mentor (Songwriter/Guitarist/Engineer & Producer) for Manhattan Transfer, Al Jarreau, George Benson and Earth Wind & Fire. Jay is a musical genius and thank you so much for all of the time you spent with me, teaching me about melodies, chord changes, engineering and production. I will always cherish our talks and special hangs!

Finally, RIP my loving mother who worked several jobs to pay for my Classical Piano and Jazz Guitar lessons and my sister Iris who held it all together when Mom passed, I will always miss you!
